help wanted - 1099 artisan position

I am local to New Kent County and run a very busy and successful seat weaving business from my garage. This is a full to part-time position for an artisan that desires to learn a skill and make some extra money. Business is steadily increasing so there is room for growth.

Job Requirements

• inherent weaving skills
• visual pattern comprehension and recognition
• crafting skills with small hand and power tools
• wood working knowledge a plus
• ability to lift and move chairs
• follow directions to learn a skill
• ability to take instruction and make independent decisions
• dexterity and strength in fingers and hands

Job Description
This is an independent contractor position, paid by the properly completed chair. This is not an hourly position. Number of projects will be based on business and skill level. I will pay a percentage of each chair completed that will vary depending on the type of chair. The percentage will increase as assistant becomes self-sufficient and completes each project independently. Work will be performed at my shop. Weekday hours are flexible with potential for weekends, if desired.
